Mutts In a Rut
Mutts In A Rut
At All About Dogs, we are dedicated to supporting dogs and their families every step of the way—from the very first wag of the tail to their lifelong happiness. This month, in honor of National Train Your Dog Month, we are excited to feature Mutts in a Rut Rescue, an incredible 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to saving dogs and cats from overpopulated shelters in Cleveland and surrounding areas.
How All About Dogs Supports Rescued Pets:
Training for Success: Our puppy classes, behavioral training, and private lessons are designed to help newly adopted pets transition smoothly into their new homes. Training is a great way to reinforce good behavior, build confidence, and strengthen your bond.
Workshops for Socialization: We offer specialized workshops focusing on leash walking, recall, and socialization—skills that are vital for newly adopted pets who may need extra guidance.
Support for Lifelong Commitments: Just like Mutts in a Rut, we believe in the importance of a lifetime commitment to your pet. Our goal is to help ensure that your dog thrives and that your relationship is fulfilling for years to come. If you’ve recently adopted a dog from Mutts in a Rut (or any rescue), we invite you to take a look at all of our training offerings.
FOUNDED IN 2014
VOLUNTEER BASED
Mutts in a Rut Rescue is a foster-home based rescue that has been making a difference since 2014. Their founder, Anna Merriman, has always had a heart for animals, rescuing and caring for them from an early age. Their mission is simple but impactful: save lives, provide medical care, and match animals with families who will make a lifetime commitment.
Why We Love Mutts in a Rut:
Rescue with Compassion: Mutts in a Rut focuses on animals in need, giving them a second chance at a better life through foster homes and dedicated care.
Holistic Care: They provide essential medical care and behavioral training, ensuring that their rescued dogs and cats are ready to thrive in their new homes.
A Network of Volunteers: The organization is powered by compassionate volunteers who open their hearts and homes to animals in need.
At All About Dogs, we share a similar passion for the well-being of dogs. Whether you’ve adopted a dog from Mutts in a Rut or from any other rescue, we’re here to support you and your new furry friend with our training programs and behavioral workshops.
