Customer Service Associate

Customer Service Associate

We have an immediate opening for a part-time customer service associate. Can lead to a full-time position.

Must be a “want to work” detail-oriented individual who loves dogs of all shapes and sizes! Position starts at $12 per hour.

Candidates must be available during the busy seasons, which include summer and holidays throughout the year. Must have excellent customer service skills, be out going, friendly, people loving personality. We love dogs, but we like people too. Knowledge of Gingr database a bonus, but training will be essential to candidate’s success.

Job Responsibilities & Duties include:

  • Greeting clients.
  • Moving dogs throughout the facility.
  • Answering phones and helping clients.
  • Assisting with laundry.
  • Vacuuming, mopping, miscellaneous daily cleaning.
  • Maintaining data base including taking appointments and reservations.

Daycare Attendant & Kennel Technician

We have immediate full and part-time openings for hard working, detail-oriented people who love dogs of all shapes and sizes. 
All About Dogs cares for dogs 365 days a year including Saturdays, Sundays, and every holiday.
Candidates must be able to work during hours of operation.
Training is provided.

Positions start at $12.00 per hour.

Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays as we are open 7 days a week. “¢

Daycare Attendant

  • Monitor groups of dogs during off-leash play.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Be observant and detail oriented.
  • Be physically able to do cleaning of daycare areas.
  • Be comfortable working individually and as part of a team.
  • Be creative and descriptive about the individual dogs in your care.
  • TYPICAL SHIFTS: AM = 6:45am – 1:00pm, PM = 12:45pm – 6:30pm

Kennel Technician

  • Take care of our overnight guests.
  • Provide meals and water.
  • Administer necessary medications.
  • Spend one-on-one time with each guest.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to adhere to strict care schedule.
  • Be physically able to do cleaning of the kennel rooms and surrounding areas.
  • Be creative and descriptive about the individual dogs in your care.
  • TYPICAL SHIFTS: AM = 6:45am – 2:00pm, PM = 1:45pm – 9:00pm

Professional Dog Trainer

We have an immediate opening for a Part or Full-Time experienced dog trainer.  This position includes private training with clients, one-on-one training with individual dogs, enrichment training sessions and teaching group classes.  The training philosophy at All About Dogs is positive reinforcement based.  Punishment or training with the use of aversive tools are not permitted at our facility. Certifications are not required but are a bonus!  
Dog Trainer position is commission based. 

 Applicant must have: 

  • A minimum of 2 years dog training experience with references. 
  • Experience teaching basic obedience cues from beginner level to advanced and teaching basic tricks. 
  • Knowledge and experience teaching a positive based training approach. 
  • Knowledge of enrichment training, its purpose and activities/behaviors that can benefit dogs by increasing confidence is a bonus. 
  • Comfort level working with dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds is essential. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone and/or email.  
  • Ability to organize and maintain personal schedule.  
  • Must be able and willing to share the responsibility of cleaning all training areas.  
  • Willingness and drive to further your education through classes, seminars, self-education tools.  

Part-time Maintenance Assistant

Position: Part-Time Maintenance Assistant
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7am – 3pm, with occasional additional days as needed
Starting Wage: $12.00 per hour (Negotiable based on prior experience)

Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced maintenance technician to ensure that our facility remains in top condition for the health and safety of our canine guests. While you will not be working directly with any canine guests, this position does require you to work in an environment around them. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable being around dogs.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
  • Ability to operate power washing equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude towards additional work days when needed.
