Rescue Village Pet Pantry Food Drive
November 1 – November 30
During the month of November, All About Dogs is hosting a Pet Food Drive to help fill Rescue Village’s Pet Food Pantry. From November 1st – 30th we will be accepting sealed bags of dry food of any brand or size during our regular store hours.
Hard times can affect any family, regardless of their background, income, or social status. These difficult situations can come in many forms, such as financial struggles, health issues, relationship problems, or unexpected tragedies. When faced with such challenges, families may feel overwhelmed, stressed, and uncertain about their future or how they will make ends meet.
It’s during these times when our pets can provide much needed stability, unconditional love and companionship. Depending on the type of difficulty paying for your dog’s everyday needs, such as food can add additional stress and uncertainty.
Are you or someone you know facing food insecurity for a dog or cat?
The community pet food pantry at Rescue Village is available to assist pet parents who have fallen on hard times or are struggling to provide food for their pets. Dry dog and cat food is available first come, first served. It is donation driven and particular brands cannot be guaranteed.
If you need help, please contact Rescue Village by emailing intake@rescuevillage.org or call 440-338-4819 ext. 1017 to find out if they have donated food prior to making your trip to the shelter and to make arrangements for pick-up.
Rescue Village is in particular need of dry cat food to fill the pantry at this time.
Unfortunately, Rescue Village cannot accept or distribute canned food in the pet food pantry.
