This obedience brush-up session will cover essential behaviors that can be beneficial for everyday activities like walks in the park or around your neighborhood. The practice session is also valuable for those interested in taking the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test or pursuing therapy work with their dog.

• Mastery of basic obedience skills (sit, down, brief stay, on-leash come, walk on loose leash, sit to accept petting, polite behavior around other dogs).
• Good companion skills, such as coming when called, standing for an examination, staying in both a “sit” and “down” position with a group of other dogs, and heeling.
