What exactly is Rally Obedience? It’s a dog sport that combines elements of obedience training with a series of fun and challenging courses. During the workshop, kids and their dogs will navigate through a numbered course of signs, each sign requiring them to perform specific tasks such as sit, down, and heel. By working together to complete the course, children learn the importance of communication, patience, and teamwork.
How can you and your child prepare for the workshop? Start by practicing basic commands at home to build a foundation of trust and cooperation. Encourage your child to be consistent and gentle with their instructions, fostering a positive learning environment for the dog. On the day of the workshop, bring plenty of treats and a favorite toy to keep your dog motivated and engaged.

Requirements:
- No prior Rally obedience experience needed.
- Kids ages 7-11 must be able to follow instructions and handle and control their dog.
- Dogs and kids must have the patience to wait their turn.
- Dogs must know basic cues such as sit and down and be able to walk politely on leash.
- Adults will be permitted to assist their child as needed to create a positive and successful experience.
