You’re a people person who loves dogs, organized, outgoing, and detail-oriented. You are available to work during busy seasons like summer and holidays.
Greet clients and handle check-ins/outs
Answer phones and assist with appointments
Maintain overall cleanliness (vacuuming, mopping, laundry)
Update our Gingr database (training provided)
Move dogs safely through the facility
AM: 6:45 AM – 1:00 PM
PM: 12:45 PM – 6:30 PM
Supervise dogs during off-leash play
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Engage and interact with dogs
Work independently and as part of a team
Observe, record, and describe dog behaviors
Be able to stand for extended hours
Part-Time: $12/hour
Full-Time: Starts at $12/hour for training, then increases up to $15/hour
Full-Time: Minimum 32 hours/week Shifts:
AM: 6:45 AM – 2:00 PM
PM: 1:45 PM – 9:00 PM
Care for overnight boarding guests
Provide food, water, and medication
One-on-one time with dogs
Maintain a strict care schedule & be detail-oriented
Clean kennels and shared spaces
Record and describe the behavior of dogs in your care
We believe in positive reinforcement training. Aversive tools and punishment are not allowed. Certifications are a plus, but not required.
Minimum 2 years’ dog training experience
Experience with basic to advanced obedience, tricks, and enrichment training
Strong communication and organization skills
Experience teaching a positive-based training approach
Comfort with dogs of all breeds and sizes
Commitment to continued learning through classes, seminars, etc
Lead private sessions, enrichment activities, and group classes
Maintain training records and cleanliness of training areas
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7 AM – 3 PM (with occasional additional days)
Assist with facility repairs and upkeep
Use power washing equipment safely
Perform basic carpentry, painting, and electrical fixes
Attention to details, team-oriented with good communication
Comfortable around dogs (although no direct handling required)
Experience preferred but not required
Reliable, punctual, and flexible attitude to extra working days when needed.
